Actor Saanvie Tallwar, currently seen in Khamosh Aahatein, has opened up about her connection with Lord Krishna ahead of Janmashtami. She spoke about faith, karma, personal values and why she chooses to follow a difficult path when it feels right rather than taking the easier route.
For Saanvie Tallwar, faith is not limited to festivals or rituals. Ahead of Janmashtami, the actor, who is currently seen in the web series Khamosh Aahatein, spoke about how the teachings associated with Lord Krishna influence the way she approaches her career, relationships and difficult phases of life.
For her, Krishna represents more than a religious figure. His teachings have become a philosophy that she tries to apply to everyday decisions, particularly the idea of concentrating on one’s actions rather than becoming consumed by the outcome.

“Success makes me grateful, and failure makes me stronger. I just believe in doing my karma with faith and letting Krishna take care of the rest,” she added.

“At this stage of my life, balance means knowing what deserves my energy and what doesn’t. I’m ambitious about my career and the things I want to achieve, but I also want to enjoy the journey, value my relationships and make time for myself,” she said.

Why Saanvie Tallwar Chooses The Harder Path
The actor also reflected on some of the difficult choices she has made in her life.
According to Saanvie, there have been moments when she had to decide between taking a convenient route and remaining committed to what she believed was right for her.
“I’ve often had to choose between what was easy and what I knew was right for me. I’ve never been afraid to choose the harder path if it meant staying true to myself,” she said.
She added that this has sometimes meant letting go of people, opportunities or circumstances that did not align with her values.
“I’ve walked away from people, opportunities and situations that didn’t align with my values, even when it came at a cost,” Saanvie said.
Saanvie Says Krishna’s Teachings Give Her Courage
For Saanvie, the willingness to remain committed to her values is closely connected to her understanding of Krishna’s teachings about dharma.
“Krishna teaches us to stand by our dharma, even when the path is difficult, and that’s something I try to live by. I choose to walk that path with faith over fear,” she said.
Her words suggest that faith, for her, is not about avoiding difficult circumstances but about finding the confidence to move through them.
What Does Janmashtami Mean To Saanvie Tallwar?
Janmashtami holds a personal significance for Saanvie beyond the festivities surrounding the occasion.
She sees the festival as a reminder that difficult periods can eventually give way to hope and change.
“For me, Janmashtami is a reminder that even the darkest phase is not permanent. Krishna’s birth itself came in the middle of a difficult time, yet it brought hope and a new beginning,” she said.
The actor connected that idea with her own experiences of going through challenging periods.
“I’ve faced my own difficult phases, and I’ve learnt that sometimes you simply have to keep faith, keep moving and trust the journey,” she added.
For Saanvie, Krishna represents the belief that adversity does not necessarily define the final destination.
“For me, Krishna represents the belief that when life tests you, faith can become your greatest strength,” she said.
Saanvie Tallwar On Her Childhood Connection With Janmashtami
Saanvie’s relationship with faith dates back to her childhood. She recalled observing the Janmashtami fast when she was younger and described herself as someone whose belief in God has remained deeply personal.
“I’ve kept the Janmashtami fast in my childhood, and I’ve grown up with very strong faith in God. I’m an Astik at heart, and my faith has always been deeply personal to me,” she said.
At the same time, she does not believe devotion is restricted to rituals or formal celebrations.
“I also believe devotion is not only about rituals,” she explained.
The actor acknowledged that professional commitments and circumstances do not always allow her to celebrate every festival in the way she might want to.
“I don’t always get the opportunity to celebrate every festival because life and circumstances can sometimes come in the way, but my faith remains constant,” she said.
For Saanvie, faith is ultimately about trust.
“For me, faith is knowing that even when I can’t see the way forward, I trust that God is walking with me,” she added.
The Krishna Aspect Saanvie Relates To Most
When asked which aspect of Krishna she feels most connected to, Saanvie pointed towards his qualities as a warrior and leader.
“I think I relate most to Krishna as a warrior and a leader,” she said.
She described herself as someone who may take time to connect with people but becomes deeply invested once a bond is established.
“I’m someone who may not connect with people immediately, but once I do, I’m deeply invested and can play every role in that relationship with complete devotion,” she explained.
However, it is Krishna’s courage and sense of responsibility that inspire her most.
“But the warrior and leader in Krishna inspire me the most: the courage to stand your ground, take responsibility and keep moving forward even when the situation is difficult,” Saanvie said.
She summed up her understanding of strength with a thought that also reflects her personal philosophy:
“For me, true strength is not just knowing how to fight but knowing what is worth fighting for.”
Saanvie Tallwar’s Message Of Faith Ahead Of Janmashtami
As Janmashtami approaches, Saanvie’s reflections reveal how closely her spiritual beliefs are connected to the way she views ambition, setbacks and personal choices.
Rather than seeing faith as a way to avoid uncertainty, she describes it as a source of courage while navigating it.
Her belief in focusing on effort, remaining aligned with personal values and accepting that outcomes cannot always be controlled has become an important part of how she approaches life and work.
For the actor, choosing the harder path does not necessarily mean choosing struggle for its own sake. It means remaining committed to what she believes is right, even when an easier option is available.
