At the time, Mamitha appears to have viewed the possibility of working with Vijay as a distant dream.

She had grown up watching his films and admired the enormous enthusiasm surrounding his releases. The scale of Vijay’s popularity among Tamil audiences had made an impression on her long before she entered the industry.

She also expressed disappointment about missing the scheduled appearance, explaining that cancelling the trip was unavoidable under the circumstances.

The update came after the Clyde Malayali Association had announced Mamitha as a celebrity guest for its Onam celebrations.

Australia Event Postponed After Mamitha’s Health Update

With Mamitha unable to travel, the Clyde Malayali Association decided to postpone the event rather than proceed without the actor.

The organisation is expected to announce a new date after confirming arrangements with Mamitha’s team and the venue.

Mamitha also apologised to the organisers and the people who had been looking forward to seeing her.

“I want to come and meet the Clyde family. I apologise to everyone. It is because of this situation that I have had to cancel. I hope this can happen on another occasion,” she said.

Her message made it clear that she hopes to meet the Australian Malayali community once she has recovered and is able to travel.
