The makers of Immortal, starring GV Prakash Kumar and Kayadu Lohar, have officially announced a new release date for the much-awaited fantasy thriller. Originally scheduled to arrive in theatres on July 23, 2026, the film will now hit the big screen on September 4, 2026.
The announcement was made on Wednesday, shortly after the release date of Vijay’s highly anticipated film Jana Nayagan was confirmed for July 23. Industry observers believe the decision was taken to avoid a direct box-office clash with one of the biggest Tamil releases of the year.
Sharing the update on social media, the makers extended their best wishes to the Jana Nayagan team while confirming the revised release plan for Immortal.
