She claimed that during the conversation, she was told that her relatively young age and lack of screen time were reasons she should take the Fear Funda, as it could provide her with more footage.

Shagun said she disagreed with that reasoning, particularly because she had already experienced what she described as a very difficult Pain Auction.

Explaining her position, Shagun said there had been an understanding among the contestants that the person who lost a task would be considered for the Pain Auction.

She recalled the discussion and quoted the argument as follows:

“I am older, I know the industry better, you are young hence I am telling you to take Fear Funda because you are not getting footage, and doing this stunt will give you footage.”

Shagun said she did not believe that a contestant’s amount of screen time should determine whether they were sent into a difficult stunt.

She further claimed that the portion broadcast to viewers did not include the complete reasoning behind her reaction.

According to her, the missing context could make her response appear very different from how the conversation actually unfolded.

The actress also spoke about the editing process on reality television and said that several conversations take place during filming but cannot be included in the final episode.

However, she argued that removing part of a conversation can alter how viewers interpret an incident.

“I have also clearly told the team- either show the full picture or don’t show anything at all, because half a conversation can create a completely different impression,” Shagun said in her note.

Her comments come after her disagreement with Gaurav became a talking point among viewers of the stunt-based reality show.
