Actor Anupam Kher has expressed strong praise for Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, while taking a sharp dig at critics who have labelled the spy thriller as propaganda.
Anupam Kher Calls Dhurandhar 2 ‘Outstanding’
Sharing a detailed video on Instagram, Kher described the film as an “experience, an emotion, a journey” that stays with viewers long after the credits roll. He also revealed that he personally called the director to congratulate him on the film’s execution.
“Dhurandhar 2 is not just a film. It is a powerful, moving story that makes every Indian proud,” Kher said. He went on to applaud the performances of Ranveer Singh, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, R Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal for their contributions.
Slamming ‘Propaganda’ Allegations
Kher criticised those calling the film propaganda, saying such views are unfair and misplaced. “People who are saying it’s about jingoism and that it is a propaganda film… should be ashamed of themselves. If you can’t tolerate such a movie, make one yourself,” he remarked.
