The political drama The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond continues its theatrical run with steady numbers at the Indian box office. After completing two weeks in cinemas, the film has earned approximately ₹32.90 crore nett.

Directed by Kamakhya Narayan Singh, the film features Ulka Gupta, Aishwarya Ojha and Aditi Bhatia in lead roles.

The film added ₹12.65 crore during its second week, reflecting a 35 percent drop compared to the opening week. On its second Thursday, the movie earned roughly ₹1.25 crore, indicating a steady hold in theatres.

Trade estimates suggest the film could cross ₹35 crore during its third weekend and may finish that phase of its run close to ₹37 crore nett.

However, its theatrical run could shorten slightly due to the upcoming release of Dhurandhar: The Revenge, which is expected to arrive with Wednesday previews and occupy a large share of screens.

If current trends continue, the sequel is likely to wrap its theatrical run around ₹40 crore nett.

The sequel’s performance is notably smaller compared to the first installment, The Kerala Story. The original film opened with about ₹6.75 crore and eventually became a massive blockbuster, collecting around ₹220 crore nett in India.
