Bengali actress Subhashree Ganguly is currently stranded in Dubai along with her son Yuvaan after escalating tensions in the Middle East led to airspace disruptions. Her husband, filmmaker and politician Raj Chakraborty, has reassured fans that both mother and son are safe despite being unable to return to India as scheduled.

Subhashree had travelled to Dubai on February 28 for a short vacation with her son. However, shortly after their arrival, military strikes by the United States and Israel targeting Iran intensified regional instability.

Speaking about the situation, Raj Chakraborty confirmed that Subhashree and Yuvaan are staying indoors and following official safety advisories. He stated that they were initially scheduled to return to Kolkata on March 5, but travel plans now remain uncertain due to the evolving circumstances.

While they are safe at present, the family is understandably anxious about when normal flight operations will resume. Reports also suggest that communication has been limited at times, with advisories discouraging unnecessary phone usage during sensitive security situations.

Meanwhile, the Foreign Office has advised British nationals in Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and the UAE to remain indoors following reports of missile activity and regional strikes.
