As her latest film O’ Romeo arrived in cinemas on February 13, Triptii Dimri took a moment to reflect on her journey and express gratitude to the cast and crew behind the project.
Sharing a heartfelt message on Instagram, the actress described her character Afshan as layered and emotionally intense. “Afshan isn’t just a character — she’s fire and fragility in the same breath. She feels deeply, loves fiercely, and fights with everything she has. This role challenged me, demanded honesty, and pushed me beyond my comfort zone,” Triptii wrote.
She also acknowledged director Vishal Bhardwaj for guiding her performance. According to Triptii, working with him taught her how to surrender completely to a character and fully embrace Afshan’s emotional truth.

Triptii reserved special appreciation for her co-star Shahid Kapoor, calling him “an incredibly hardworking and supportive co-star.”

O’ Romeo also marks the fourth collaboration between Shahid Kapoor and director Vishal Bhardwaj after their earlier projects Kaminey, Haider, and Rangoon, making this reunion particularly significant for fans of their previous work.
