A behind-the-scenes moment from The Raja Saab has sparked fresh online discussion after viewers discovered who performed as Malavika Mohanan’s body double in a key fight sequence.
The horror-comedy, directed by Maruthi, marked Malavika’s Telugu debut. In the film, she is seen performing action sequences before the narrative shifts focus to Prabhas’ character stepping in. While the actor previously shared photos and clips of herself training and performing portions of the stunt choreography, a recently circulated BTS image surprised many fans.
Malavika Mohanan’s Body Double Revealed
Actor Ronson Vincent, who appeared in the fight scene, had briefly shared behind-the-scenes visuals on Instagram. Although the original video was later deleted, screenshots and reposts quickly surfaced online.
One widely shared image showed Ronson posing alongside a person dressed in a pink crop top and shorts — the costume worn by Malavika in the action scene. The revelation that the body double was a male stunt performer caught many social media users off guard, even though such casting choices are common practice in filmmaking for specific stunt requirements.

“As girls, we rarely get to do action in films, but I love doing stunts & had so much fun doing this scene! Did you like this scene?” she wrote on social media, alongside clips of her performing parts of the choreography.
