Actors Mrunal Thakur and Varun Dhawan are collaborating for the first time in the upcoming Bollywood film Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, and a behind-the-scenes video from the set has taken social media by storm.
The short clip, shared by Movie Talkies, shows Mrunal portraying a pregnant woman as she walks alongside Varun Dhawan on what appears to be a busy street set. Though her screen time in the clip lasts only a few seconds, it has revealed a significant detail about her character.
Mrunal is seen wearing a soft pink gown, while Varun appears beside her in casual navy attire, looking calm and protective as the two walk together. The subtle moment has sparked curiosity about the film’s storyline.

Directed by David Dhawan, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai stars Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde in lead roles. The film also features Maniesh Paul, Jimmy Shergill, Mouni Roy, Chunky Panday, Rakesh Bedi and Ali Asgar in key supporting parts.
The film is scheduled to release in the second half of 2026. It was earlier slated for an April 10, 2026 release, but the makers later updated the date. The revised poster reads:
