‘Desi’ Salman Khan plucked berries, did farming: Shehnaaz Gill on what a weekend at Bhai’s Panvel farmhouse looks like
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is known not just for his blockbuster films but also for his grounded and ‘desi’ lifestyle. Actress Shehnaaz Gill, who shared screen space with the actor in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, recently gave fans a peek into what it’s like spending a weekend at his Panvel farmhouse.
Speaking on Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast, Shehnaaz recalled how Salman Khan enjoys simple joys of life even amid stardom.
“We all stayed at his farmhouse for two days during Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan promotions. We had lots of fun. We drove his ATV, and Salman sir kept plucking berries and feeding us. He’s very desi — he does a lot of farming and has a whole system for it,” Shehnaaz shared with a laugh.
A ‘Desi’ Superstar at Heart
Shehnaaz revealed that despite the parties and guests, Salman Khan often talks about work and cinema even during downtime.
“He keeps talking about how to do action, how to improve performances, and what he’s planning next. He has immense knowledge about films and keeps sharing it,” she added.
The actress, who first rose to fame on Bigg Boss 13, was nicknamed the “Katrina Kaif of Punjab” — a title that caught Salman’s attention during the show. Since then, he has often praised her growth and dedication.

She also made a cameo in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video (2024) and recently starred in the Punjabi hit Ikk Kudi (2025), which has been receiving wide appreciation.
