Sara Arjun: From Child Star to Ranbir Singh’s Co-Star in Dhurandhar

Early Life and Career

Sara Arjun was born on June 18, 2005, in Mumbai. She is the daughter of Indian actor Raj Arjun and grew up in a culturally rich family. She completed her schooling in Mumbai and began her career in acting at just 18 months, appearing in an advertisement alongside her parents. Over the years, she worked in hundreds of commercials, including for McDonald’s, and became one of India’s most recognizable child actors by age five.

At the age of two, Sara appeared in a commercial directed by Vijay, and later, he cast her in his Tamil film Dheba Thirumagar at just six years old. Her parents helped her learn Tamil dialogues for the role, and the film earned her acclaim as a child actor.

Sara continued to act in several films across multiple languages:

• Hindi supernatural film Ek Thi Dayan, produced by Ekta Kapoor, where she played Misha, the protagonist’s younger sister.

Despite her early fame, Sara had to navigate a competitive industry to land her role in Dhurandhar. Director Aditya Dhar revealed, “Casting director Mukesh Chhabra conducted nearly 1,300 auditions, and Sara Arjun stood out as exceptional. She was the best choice for the role.”
