Janhvi Kapoor’s First Look As Achiyyamma Out; Ram Charan Shares New Posters

The makers of Peddi have unveiled Janhvi Kapoor’s first look from the much-anticipated Ram Charan starrer. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film is a sports drama headlined by Ram Charan — and is currently scheduled to hit screens worldwide on 27 March 2026.

The official Peddi handles dropped two posters on Saturday, introducing Janhvi as Achiyyamma.

The caption read:

“Our #Peddi’s love with a firebrand attitude. Presenting the gorgeous #JanhviKapoor as #Achiyyamma. #PEDDI global release on 27th March 2026.”

Fans think she plays a singer

In one poster, Janhvi stands on the bonnet of a jeep fitted with loudspeakers — waving to an excited crowd at what looks like a rural festival setup.
The second poster gives a close shot of her singing into a microphone, which has led fans to believe her character may have a performer / folk-singer arc in the storyline.

Ram Charan also amplified the reveal across his social media.

Sri Lanka schedule in progress

Charan is currently on the move for Peddi’s shoot.
The team recently reached Sri Lanka to film a song sequence featuring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor.

Choreographer Jani Master shared unseen behind-the-scenes images from the schedule — where Charan appears in a rugged, long-hair & full-beard look that has already gone viral.

Jani wrote:

“We will cherish this time spent with @AlwaysRamCharan anna and @BuchiBabuSana garu during the shoot. The hard work Charan anna is putting in is phenomenal. Just wait for the impact.”
