Bigg Boss 19’s Tanya Mittal Called Dubai’s Atlantis ‘Downmarket’ for Her Wedding, Plans a 21-Day Celebration, Says Nagma Mirajkar

In the latest episode of her vlog, filmmaker Farah Khan visited the home of social media creators Awez Darbar and Nagma Mirajkar, who recently appeared on Bigg Boss 19. Joined by her celebrated chef Dilip, Farah recorded a candid and humorous interaction with the couple, beginning with an apology to Nagma for her eviction episode on the reality show.

Farah recalled stepping in as a temporary host for Salman Khan and admitted she had no idea Nagma would be the first contestant evicted. “I was completely shocked. I felt so guilty,” she told Nagma during the vlog.

As the conversation moved toward Awez and Nagma’s upcoming wedding plans, Farah jokingly asked whether they intended to marry in India or Dubai. Awez quickly clarified that the wedding would take place in India. Farah teased further, asking if they planned to use Tanya Mittal’s famous Gwalior property—referencing the Bigg Boss contestant who went viral for her extravagant claims. Awez laughed and said, “Who knows if it actually exists or not?”

Nagma then revealed that Tanya had once visited Dubai’s iconic Atlantis resort for a wedding recce but found it unsuitable. According to Nagma, Tanya said she considered the venue “downmarket” and wanted something “more grand.” She also reportedly expressed plans for a massive 21-day wedding celebration.

Keeping the mood light, Farah joked, “What happens after 21 days? Divorce?” prompting laughter from everyone. Nagma clarified that Tanya meant the wedding festivities would continue for 21 days, not that the marriage would end afterward.

Tanya Mittal, an entrepreneur from Gwalior, became an internet sensation after a video from her Mahakumbh visit went viral. Her stint on Bigg Boss 19 further amplified public attention, especially after she claimed to own a 26,000 sq ft mansion, employ 800 staff members, and maintain a team of 150 bodyguards. She has often faced criticism online for statements many viewers consider exaggerated.

In a previous interview with NewScoop, Tanya said she is open to marrying a jobless man, adding, “I don’t mind pressing his legs or touching his feet publicly. I truly believe there is nothing like chota-bada in a relationship.”
