The post, shared on Instagram, arrives amid online speculation that her 2024 film Savi shares plot similarities with Alia Bhatt’s Jigra.
“It is time we speak up. It is time we call out the industry mafia. I will raise my voice and I will fight this out,” Divya captioned the post, expressing shock over the hierarchy, lobbying, and gatekeeping in the film industry.

The conversation, recorded between Divya and Mukesh Bhatt, addressed claims that Mukesh had allegedly spoken against her regarding the Savi-Jigra controversy.
In the clip, Mukesh Bhatt denied any accusations against Divya, stating:
“Neither did anyone ask me nor did I tell anyone. This is again created by people who have vested interest… Somebody who wants to hurt you was intentionally planning this.”
He reassured Divya about their professional relationship and advised her not to react to online reports, calling them slanderous.
