Actor Anjali Anand has addressed the perception that she is a spokesperson for the body positivity movement, saying she has never claimed that role for herself. Speaking in a recent interview, the Dhamaal 4 actor explained that while she hopes to inspire people to embrace who they are, she does not believe in assigning labels to herself or influencing how others should look.
According to Anjali, the “body positivity advocate” label has been attached to her because of her appearance rather than her own statements or intentions.
“I Advocate Kindness, Not Labels”
Sharing her perspective, Anjali said she has never publicly positioned herself as a body positivity campaigner. Instead, she believes kindness should be at the center of every interaction.
She explained that labels can sometimes distract from a much simpler message—treating people with respect regardless of how they look.
