Sakshi Shivanand’s Early Bollywood Journey

Sakshi Shivanand began her acting career in Telugu cinema with Anna Vadina in 1993 before moving to Hindi films.

She later appeared in several Bollywood projects including Janam Kundli, Papa Kehte Hain, and Jeeo Shaan Se. Although she gained recognition, major commercial success in Hindi cinema remained limited during the initial phase of her career.

The actor eventually found greater success in South Indian cinema, where she worked alongside stars including Chiranjeevi, Mammootty, and Arvind Swamy.

The Incident That Changed Her Career Path

During a later phase of her Bollywood career, Sakshi was reportedly offered a project opposite Saif Ali Khan. However, according to her past interview statements, she became alarmed after learning about the producer’s alleged underworld connections.

Reflecting on the situation, Sakshi had shared that she became fearful after hearing repeated warnings about the strong influence of criminal networks in the Hindi film industry during that period.

According to her earlier comments, the experience left her emotionally shaken, leading her to step away from Bollywood projects and return to Telugu and Kannada cinema.

She also stated that she eventually cut off communication related to the project and changed her contact details due to fear.
