Actor Gurmeet Choudhary recently informed fans about a theft that occurred at his residence, assuring everyone that his family is safe. The incident has sparked concern among followers after the actor shared details on social media late Tuesday night.

According to Gurmeet, a newly hired worker allegedly stole several items from their home before fleeing. Fortunately, the situation was brought under control quickly.

However, the actor revealed that they had taken proper identification details before hiring him, which helped in recovering most of the stolen belongings.

More importantly, Gurmeet confirmed that his wife Debina Bonnerjee and their two daughters were completely safe. The children were inside their rooms at the time of the incident, and Gurmeet himself was at home.

He emphasised that while material losses can be managed, the safety of his family was the only thing that truly mattered.
