Kavin and Nayanthara’s Hi OTT Release Date Confirmed for September 25

Kavin and Nayanthara’s Tamil romantic drama Hi is heading to streaming after its theatrical release, with ZEE5 confirming September 25, 2026 as the film’s OTT premiere date.

Directed by Vishnu Edavan, Hi marks the filmmaker’s directorial debut and brings Kavin and Nayanthara together as a lead pair for the first time. The film originally released in theatres on August 28.

The digital premiere gives audiences who missed the theatrical run an opportunity to watch the romantic drama from home.

According to ZEE5’s streaming announcement, Hi will begin streaming on the platform from September 25, 2026.

The story follows Kavin’s character, a young man whose life takes an unexpected turn after his parents decide to arrange his marriage to someone he does not know.

Having already experienced disappointment while searching for love, he leaves home rather than enter a marriage he does not want.

His circumstances change when he meets Nayanthara’s character. She is portrayed as someone who is more confident about her choices and has also walked away from an unwanted arranged marriage.

Their meeting becomes the starting point for a story centred on love, relationships and individual choices.

During the film’s promotional campaign, Kavin also addressed speculation surrounding the possibility of an age-gap romance involving his and Nayanthara’s characters.

Hi OTT Release in Four South Indian Languages

ZEE5 will make Hi available in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam, allowing the film to reach audiences across multiple South Indian language markets.
