Vanshika Dhir Makes Bollywood Debut as Kareena in Kunal Kemmu’s Vibe

New Delhi: Emerging actor Vanshika Dhir has made her entry into Hindi cinema with Vibe, an action-comedy directed by Kunal Kemmu. The actor plays Kareena in the theatrical release, marking an important milestone in her journey as she takes on her first major film role.

Making her debut on a large film set came with its share of nervousness, but Dhir has credited her director and co-stars with helping her settle into the experience.

Kunal Kemmu Encouraged Vanshika After Her First Take

Reflecting on her first day on the set, Vanshika recalled receiving immediate encouragement from Kunal Kemmu after completing her first take.

The director told her, “Vanshika, you’re doing great. You got this!”

For a newcomer stepping into a major theatrical project, the reassurance helped Dhir gain confidence as she became familiar with the rhythm of a film set.

Working With Preity Zinta Was a “Pinch-Me Moment”

Dhir also described working alongside established performers as a memorable experience. The cast of Vibe includes Preity Zinta and Sparsh Shrivastav, giving the debutant an opportunity to observe experienced actors while working on the project.

For Vanshika, being part of such an ensemble was a “pinch-me moment.” She said she made an effort to learn even when she was not required in front of the camera.

During breaks and moments away from her own scenes, she would reportedly watch her co-stars on the monitor, observing their performances and picking up insights about the craft.

Vanshika Dhir Steps Into the Role of Kareena

In Vibe, Vanshika takes on the character of Kareena, introducing herself to audiences through a theatrical action-comedy.

The project represents a significant transition for the actor, who has also been attracting attention through her fashion appearances and social media presence.

Her appearance at the film’s trailer launch was another emotional milestone, where she expressed her gratitude for receiving an opportunity to make her big-screen debut.

Kunal Kemmu Directs Vibe

Vibe is directed by Kunal Kemmu and produced under the Drongo Films banner. The film was released in theatres on September 18, 2026.
