Actress Shruti Haasan has spoken openly about her thoughts on motherhood, revealing that she hopes to become a mother and is considering both pregnancy and adoption as possible paths.
In a recent appearance on Soha Ali Khan’s podcast, the actor also reflected on her experience with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and how her understanding of the condition influenced the way she viewed pregnancy from a young age.

Shruti said she has wanted to become a mother for a long time. However, she recalled developing concerns about her ability to have a child naturally after learning about PCOS and its possible impact on fertility.
The actress said she first became aware of the potential connection between PCOS and pregnancy when she was around 14 years old. According to Shruti, the information stayed with her for years and contributed to the belief that becoming a mother might be difficult for her.

“I really want to be a mother. I would love to try for a natural birth. But I will also consider adoption.”
