Television actress Avika Gor has been hospitalised after being diagnosed with dengue, with her husband Milind Chandwani sharing an update about her health and asking fans to pray for her recovery.

In a video shared with fans, Milind spoke about Avika’s condition and described the extent to which she had continued working while unwell. According to him, the actress had been dealing with a high fever for several days but remained committed to completing her professional responsibilities.

Avika Gor Continued Shooting Despite High Fever

Milind revealed that Avika had reportedly been running a temperature of around 103–104°F for nearly five days.

Despite feeling unwell, she completed the remaining work on a project she was shooting. According to Milind, the schedule originally planned across two days was completed in a single day.

After finishing the shoot, Avika reportedly used her two-day break to stay in bed, rest and take medication. However, Milind said that she was extremely weak during this period and had difficulty moving around and eating properly.

Her decision to continue working despite the fever became a major part of Milind’s message, although he also indicated that he had encouraged her to reconsider her professional commitments.

Avika Travelled to Delhi for an Advertisement Shoot

The actress later travelled to Delhi for an advertisement shoot.

According to Milind, Avika underwent testing before travelling. Her reports subsequently confirmed that she had dengue after she returned to Mumbai.

Milind said that he had repeatedly suggested that Avika contact the producers and postpone her commitments because of her health. He believed the production team would understand the situation.

However, Avika was reportedly reluctant to cancel the shoot because she was concerned that doing so could affect the time and money invested by other people involved in the production.
