Preity Mukhundhan Reflects on Emotionally Demanding Scene: “I Felt Completely Drained”

Actor Preity Mukhundhan has spoken candidly about one of the most emotionally challenging moments of her acting career, revealing that filming an intense scene for an upcoming Tamil project left her physically exhausted and emotionally overwhelmed.

Known for steadily expanding her presence across multiple Indian film industries, Preity said the experience reinforced the emotional commitment required to portray difficult characters authentically.

During a recent interview, Preity recalled performing a sequence in which her character experiences deep emotional trauma and anger after feeling violated.

Preity also reflected on her action thriller Blast, recalling the effort invested in making its action sequences feel realistic.

She shared that the cast and crew spent long hours rehearsing and filming multiple takes to ensure every movement looked convincing.

According to Preity, everyone involved understood the importance of delivering believable action, particularly as female-led action roles continue to gain greater visibility in Tamil cinema.

She said the team remained committed throughout filming, believing audiences would appreciate the hard work behind the project.

How Aasa Kooda Changed Her Journey

Preity credited the popular music video Aasa Kooda, composed by Sai Abhyankkar, with transforming her career.

She explained that before appearing in the music video, relatively few people in the industry knew her work.

Following its release, however, she experienced a significant increase in public recognition and social media engagement.
