Sushmita Konidela Nominated as Special Invitee to Vijayawada Durga Temple Board

VIJAYAWADA: Sushmita Konidela, daughter of actor Chiranjeevi, has been nominated by the Andhra Pradesh government as a Special Invitee to the Trust Board of Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam at Indrakeeladri in Vijayawada.

The nomination gives Sushmita a role in supporting the temple administration and participating in discussions connected with its activities.

According to the government orders, the Special Invitee can provide advice to the temple’s Executive Officer and Trust Board based on her experience. The role also includes assisting the administration during festivals, fairs and other important temple activities.

Sushmita Konidela Expresses Gratitude

Following the nomination, Sushmita Konidela expressed her gratitude to the Andhra Pradesh government for the opportunity.

In a post on X, she thanked Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Endowments Minister Anam Ramnarayana Reddy for placing their confidence in her.

Sushmita described the responsibility as an honour and said she would approach the role with devotion and sincerity.
