Toxic has recorded another decline in its Hindi box-office collections, with the Yash and Kiara Advani-led action drama estimated to have earned Rs 2.75 crore on its eighth day. The film’s Hindi India total now stands at around Rs 125.75 crore nett, according to trade estimates.

Yash’s Toxic is finding it increasingly difficult to maintain momentum at the Hindi box office. The Geethu Mohandas-directed action gangster drama witnessed another drop in collections on Wednesday, with the film estimated to have added Rs 2.75 crore nett to its India Hindi total.

With the latest numbers, Toxic’s eight-day Hindi collection is estimated at Rs 125.75 crore nett. The Wednesday figure represents a decline of around 30 per cent compared with the previous day, indicating that the film is losing pace during its second week.

Based on the current pace, trade estimates suggest that Toxic could finish its Hindi theatrical run in the vicinity of Rs 140 crore nett. However, the final lifetime collection will depend on how the film performs over the coming days and weeks.

The arrival of new theatrical competition could put additional pressure on its collections. With Mirzapur also entering cinemas, Toxic will have to compete for screens and audience attention during an important phase of its run.

Toxic struggles to convert its strong opening into sustained business
