“It is heartbreaking watching Love genuinely try to make friends while everyone else seems hungry for footage,” Gursimran said.

She argued that Love has always formed close and genuine friendships and questioned why her connection with Amrapali was being interpreted in a different manner.

Gursimran particularly objected to comments that, according to her, attempted to sexualise what she considers a platonic friendship between two women. She suggested that viewing their relationship through such a lens reflected more on the people making those comments than on Love and Amrapali.

According to Gursimran, it takes a “very dirty mind” to interpret an ordinary friendship between two women in that manner.

Gursimran also addressed a separate incident involving Aman Gandhi. She expressed disappointment over what she described as derogatory language directed towards Love and another female contestant.

Gursimran said the lack of intervention from those around them was concerning and raised questions about how contestants respond when inappropriate comments are made inside the house.
