Ganesh Chaturthi 2026: Sidharth Malhotra Visits Lalbaugcha Raja With Ekta Kapoor Ahead of The Vvaan Release

Sidharth Malhotra marked Ganesh Chaturthi 2026 with a visit to Mumbai’s famous Lalbaugcha Raja. The actor was spotted seeking Lord Ganesha’s blessings ahead of the theatrical release of his upcoming film, The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest.

Sidharth was accompanied by producer Ektaa Kapoor, who is backing the upcoming fantasy-adventure film. The actor’s visit comes as several Bollywood celebrities participate in Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations across Mumbai.

Sidharth Malhotra seeks blessings at Lalbaugcha Raja

Sidharth arrived at the Lalbaugcha Raja pandal barefoot and dressed in a traditional white-and-red kurta-pajama. Ektaa Kapoor accompanied him during the visit and was seen wearing a red ethnic outfit.

The two were seen walking towards the pandal while speaking to each other before joining devotees at the popular Mumbai Ganesh festival venue.

Lalbaugcha Raja attracts thousands of devotees every year during Ganesh Chaturthi and is also a regular destination for several Bollywood personalities during the festival.

Sidharth’s appearance at the pandal has also drawn attention because it comes shortly before the release of his next film, The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest.

Sidharth Malhotra will headline The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest, which also features Tamannaah Bhatia. The cast includes Anup Soni, Sunil Grover, Shweta Tiwari and Maniesh Paul in supporting roles.

The project brings together TVF founder Arunabh Kumar, director Deepak Mishra and producer Ektaa Kapoor. Arunabh Kumar has written the film, while Deepak Mishra has directed it.

The film combines elements of folklore, fantasy, adventure, mystery and humour, building its story around a world inspired by folklore.

The makers have also developed the fictional universe beyond the film through The Legend of Vvaan, a comic book that explores additional folklore connected to the world of the movie.

Ektaa Kapoor backs the fantasy adventure

The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest is presented by Balaji Motion Pictures, a division of Balaji Telefilms Ltd, in association with TVF and 11.11 Production.

The film is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Arunabh Kumar and Niraj Kothari.

With Sidharth Malhotra leading the cast and Tamannaah Bhatia as part of the principal lineup, the film has emerged as one of the upcoming Hindi releases being watched by audiences ahead of the festive period.
