A long-standing Bollywood rumour involving Shraddha Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar has resurfaced after Mumbai-based journalist Nikita Dalvi made fresh claims about the alleged relationship and a reported incident involving Shraddha’s family.
Speaking on a Hindi Rush podcast, Dalvi revisited reports that emerged in 2016, when Shraddha and Farhan were rumoured to be dating after working together in Rock On 2. She claimed that an argument between Shraddha and her mother eventually led the actor to stay at Farhan’s residence.
Dalvi’s account has not been independently verified, and both Shraddha Kapoor and her father Shakti Kapoor had strongly denied the reported incident when it first emerged.

According to Dalvi, Shraddha allegedly moved into Farhan’s home around a year and a half after the two were rumoured to have begun dating.

According to the journalist, Shraddha personally contacted her and asked for the report to be taken down, citing the involvement of “two families.”
