Jemima Goldsmith Marries Multi-Millionaire Financier Cameron O’Reilly

Jemima Goldsmith has married for a second time, exchanging vows with Irish-Australian financier Cameron O’Reilly after a relationship that began as a friendship through work.

Goldsmith, 52, and O’Reilly, 62, are understood to have married over the weekend, following their engagement earlier this year. The couple had reportedly been together for just over a year before taking the next step in their relationship.

The wedding marks a new chapter for Goldsmith, the award-winning producer and writer who was previously married to former Pakistan cricket captain and politician Imran Khan.

Cameron O’Reilly comes from a prominent Irish-Australian business family. He is the son of the late Sir Anthony O’Reilly, the media entrepreneur and former international rugby player.

An Oxford graduate, Cameron spent around a decade working within his father’s media interests, including Independent News & Media and Australia’s APN News & Media. He later stepped down as chief executive of APN News & Media in 2000.

O’Reilly subsequently moved into private equity and founded Bayard Capital in 2003.

One of his best-known business ventures involved the Swiss metering company Landis+Gyr. After serving as its chief executive, he oversaw its eventual sale to Toshiba in 2011 for approximately $2.3 billion.
