Television actor Rubina Dilaik has addressed long-running speculation about whether she underwent plastic surgery to change her appearance.
In a recent YouTube conversation featuring Hina Khan, Rocky Jaiswal and Abhinav Shukla, the actor spoke candidly about how her appearance has evolved over the years and rejected the idea that she achieved her current look through surgical procedures.
“I’ve not gone under the knife to look the way that I am today,” Rubina said while discussing the speculation.

She also claimed that some of the images had been digitally altered, making the comparisons even more misleading.
“Bigg Boss ke time unhone meri Shimla ki wo sab pictures nikali thi. Thodi si unhone AI se distort kar di, mere daant aise bana diye,” she explained.
Rubina went on to point out that her appearance naturally changed as she grew older.
She also recalled having braces when she was younger, offering another explanation for differences between some of her childhood photographs and her appearance today.

While Rubina denied undergoing surgery to achieve her current appearance, she acknowledged that she has tried non-invasive cosmetic treatments.
She specifically discussed Thermage, a treatment that uses radiofrequency energy and is marketed for skin tightening.
Explaining her experience, Rubina said the treatment helped lift her face and reduce the appearance associated with what she described as her “baby fat.”

“Softwave ke liye specially Dubai gayi hoon. Mera woh pre-wedding gift tha, ki mujhe yeh karwana hai,” she said.
Her comments draw a distinction between surgical procedures and aesthetic treatments that do not involve going under the knife.
Rubina Says Lifestyle Has Also Played a Role
The actor also attributed much of her appearance to her lifestyle and diet.
Rubina said she has maintained herself through what she eats and emphasized the connection she believes exists between nutrition and skin health.
“I have maintained myself absolutely, absolutely with what I eat,” she said.
She added that the body, including the skin, is influenced by nutrition.
Rubina has previously spoken about approaches such as facial yoga and working on her features naturally.
Her latest comments therefore provide a broader explanation for how she views beauty and maintaining her appearance.
Why Rubina’s Appearance Has Been a Topic of Discussion
Celebrity appearances frequently become the subject of online comparison, particularly when photographs from different stages of someone’s life are placed side by side.
In Rubina’s case, comparisons between older photographs and recent appearances have repeatedly prompted questions about whether cosmetic surgery was involved.
The actor’s latest comments offer her own explanation rather than leaving the speculation unanswered.
She says she has not undergone plastic surgery to achieve her current appearance, while openly acknowledging that she has used non-invasive cosmetic treatments.
That distinction is important because cosmetic treatments cover a wide range of procedures, and not all aesthetic treatments involve surgery.
Rubina Dilaik Chooses to Address the Rumours Herself
Rather than ignoring the discussion, Rubina has now directly addressed the subject and explained some of the changes people have noticed over the years.
Her comments also highlight how difficult it can be to compare childhood or teenage photographs with images of an adult celebrity.
Changes in facial features can occur naturally with age, while orthodontic treatment, styling, makeup, skincare and other aesthetic choices can also affect someone’s appearance.
Rubina’s explanation combines those factors with her acknowledgement of non-invasive treatments.
