The gown she wore was a 2000s Caché dress created as a dupe of Kate Hudson’s famous yellow gown, rather than the original costume from the film.

Hudson’s original dress was designed by Carolina Herrera in collaboration with costume designer Karen Patch.

The particular shade of yellow used for the original was also carefully considered. Patch drew inspiration from the yellow diamond in the Harry Winston Isadora necklace worn by Hudson in the film, choosing a colour that would complement the jewellery.
