Several Bollywood celebrities offered fans glimpses of their Raksha Bandhan celebrations this year, sharing photographs and heartfelt messages with their siblings and families. For Parineeti Chopra, however, the festival carried an added emotional significance.

It marked the first Raksha Bandhan celebration for her young son, Neer.

Parineeti took to Instagram Stories to share an adorable photograph of Neer’s tiny hand, revealing that his first rakhi had been sent by his cousin Malti Marie, the daughter of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas.

The sweet family exchange quickly became a talking point among fans, with Priyanka also resharing the post and sending love to her little cousin.

Malti Marie Sends Baby Neer His First Rakhi

Parineeti Chopra shared the heartwarming update on Saturday through her Instagram Stories.

The photograph showed her son Neer’s tiny hand with a rakhi tied around his wrist. The rakhi featured a vintage car-inspired design, making the festive moment even more adorable.

Alongside the image, Parineeti wrote: “Thank you Malti didi for my first Rakhi! Lots of love, Neer.”

The message revealed that Malti Marie had sent the rakhi for her younger cousin, helping make his first Raksha Bandhan a memorable family occasion despite the distance between the two families.

Priyanka Chopra, who lives in the United States with her husband Nick Jonas and their daughter Malti, later reshared Parineeti’s post.

Responding to the sweet moment, Priyanka wrote: “Didi loves you baby Neer.”

The brief but affectionate exchange gave fans a glimpse into the close relationship shared by the Chopra family across generations.

A Special First Raksha Bandhan for Neer

For Parineeti and her husband Raghav Chadha, the celebration carried particular significance because it was their son Neer’s first Raksha Bandhan.

The couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Neer, on October 19, 2025.

Since then, fans have occasionally received glimpses of the family’s new chapter, although Parineeti and Raghav have largely kept their child’s life away from the public spotlight.

The Raksha Bandhan post was one such rare family moment shared with followers.

The festival traditionally celebrates the bond of love, care and protection between siblings and family members. In this case, the exchange also highlighted the bond between two young members of the extended Chopra family.

Even though Malti and Neer live in different countries, the rakhi became a simple but meaningful way to connect the two cousins during the festival.

Priyanka and Nick Had Sent Gifts for Neer After His Birth

This was not the first time Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas and Malti Marie had sent their love to Parineeti’s son.

Following Neer’s birth in October 2025, Priyanka and Nick reportedly sent gifts for the newborn.

Parineeti later shared a glimpse of the presents on social media and wrote: “Neer getting spoilt already! Thank you Mimi masi, Nick masa and Malti didi.”

The message offered another warm glimpse of the family’s close connection.

Priyanka’s affectionate relationship with Parineeti has often been visible through their public interactions. As cousins, the two actors have occasionally shared moments from family celebrations and personal milestones.

Now, with Malti and Neer becoming part of the next generation of the family, fans have also begun seeing glimpses of the cousins’ bond.

Priyanka Chopra Celebrates Indian Festivals in the US

Priyanka Chopra has been based in the United States with her husband Nick Jonas and their daughter Malti Marie, but the actor has continued to celebrate Indian festivals and traditions with her family.

Over the years, Priyanka has shared glimpses of celebrations including Diwali, Holi and other important occasions.

Her social media updates have often reflected her efforts to keep cultural traditions part of family life while living abroad.

The gesture of sending a rakhi to baby Neer is another example of how family traditions can continue across geographical distances.

For Malti, who is growing up in a multicultural household, such celebrations also provide opportunities to remain connected with her Indian family heritage.

The latest exchange between Priyanka and Parineeti may have been a small social media moment, but it carried the warmth of a larger family celebration.

Parineeti Chopra’s Upcoming Project

On the professional front, Parineeti Chopra is preparing for her upcoming series, ** Talaash: A Mother’s Search **.

The project is directed by Renil D’Silva and also features Soni Razdan, Anup Soni, Tahir Raj Bhasin and Sumeet Vyas.

The series is expected to stream on Netflix.

More details about the project, including its release date, are expected to be announced or confirmed by the makers and streaming platform.

Priyanka Chopra’s Return to Indian Cinema

Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra is also preparing for a major Indian film project.

The actor is set to appear in SS Rajamouli’s Varanasi, which also features Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran.

The project has generated considerable anticipation because it brings Priyanka together with Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu.

According to the information available, Varanasi is scheduled for a theatrical release in April 2027, although audiences will have to wait for further official announcements regarding additional release details.

The film is expected to mark a significant addition to Priyanka’s Indian filmography while she continues to work across international productions.

A Sweet Family Moment Wins Hearts

For now, though, it was a tiny rakhi and a heartfelt message that captured the attention of fans.

Parineeti’s photograph of Neer’s hand offered a glimpse of a milestone that many families celebrate with special joy—the first festival shared by a new child.

Priyanka’s response, “Didi loves you baby Neer,” added another layer of warmth to the exchange.

While the Chopra cousins may live in different countries, Raksha Bandhan gave Malti and baby Neer a special reason to connect.

And as fans saw through Parineeti’s Instagram Story, the youngest members of the family are already beginning to create their own adorable memories.
