Nia Sharma Announces Three-Day Break From Selfies After Skin Repair Treatment

Nia Sharma has announced a brief pause from her much-loved Instagram selfie routine. The television actor recently shared a fresh set of pictures from inside her car and revealed that she would not be posting selfies for the next three days after undergoing a skin repair treatment.

The announcement came through a selfie collage shared on her Instagram. Writing over the pictures, Nia said, “No selfies next 3 days,” before adding, “Skin repair n all.” While the break is only temporary, the update quickly caught the attention of fans who regularly follow her social media posts.

Known for frequently sharing selfies, short videos and personal updates, Nia has developed a strong social media presence over the years. Her latest post offered fans a glimpse into her decision to take a short break while allowing her skin time to recover from the treatment.

Before announcing the selfie hiatus, Nia also shared moments from her Naag Panchami observance. In the pictures and videos, she was seen taking part in a prayer ritual while holding a thali with a diya as she sought Lord Shiva’s blessings.

Nia has previously spoken about skin and hair concerns

The actor has been open about dealing with several beauty and appearance-related concerns throughout her career. Nia has previously spoken about acne, dark circles and hair loss, including the skin problems she experienced while working on Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai.

She had earlier revealed that acne and dark circles became significant concerns during that period and that she eventually underwent treatment for several months. Over the years, she has also discussed maintaining a regular skincare and haircare routine.

Nia has said that she was advised to consider fillers for her dark circles but chose not to undergo the procedure. Instead, she has attributed changes in her appearance over time largely to natural ageing and personal transformation.

From television to reality shows

Nia Sharma began her acting career with Kaali – Ek Agnipariksha in 2010 before gaining wider recognition with Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai in 2011. She subsequently appeared in shows including Jamai Raja, Naagin 4 and Suhagan Chudail.

Her career has also extended into digital entertainment. Nia featured in projects such as Twisted and Jamai 2.0, while reality television became another important part of her career.

She participated in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 and later returned for Khatron Ke Khiladi – Made in India, where she emerged as the winner.

More recently, Nia appeared in MTV Splitsvilla X6 and was also part of Laughter Chefs Season 3. With her latest Instagram update, however, the actor is taking a short social-media pause — at least when it comes to her signature selfies.
