For Sharvari, a watch is more than an accessory that tells the time. It can become a quiet keeper of memories—a piece associated with a person, a gift, a particular period or an everyday moment that remains meaningful long after the occasion has passed.

The actor, who has steadily established herself across a range of genres, says she prefers fashion pieces that can move effortlessly from one occasion to another. Her approach is less about collecting items for a single look and more about choosing accessories that can remain relevant for years.

“Personally, I’ve always believed in investing in pieces that you can wear again and again, across different occasions,” Sharvari says.

She adds that she particularly appreciates accessories that become part of everyday life and can even be shared across generations within a family.

“I love accessories that become a part of your everyday life, that you can even share with your mom or your sister,” she says.

That philosophy is also reflected in her personal style, which she describes as minimal, classic and effortless.

Sharvari’s fashion choices mirror the versatility that has also defined her work on screen.

The actor has moved between very different cinematic worlds, from the comedy and drama of Bunty Aur Babli 2 to the horror-comedy Munjya, followed by the more intense action territory of Vedaa and Alpha.

For someone whose professional life involves constantly shifting between characters and settings, versatility naturally has a strong appeal.

That is also one reason she says her association with Danish watchmaker Daniel Wellington felt like a natural fit.

“It felt like a very natural fit for me because it reflects who I am, both personally and professionally,” Sharvari says.

As an actor, she is frequently required to adapt to different roles. She sees a similar quality in a watch that can complement different outfits and occasions without losing its identity.

“Their watches are incredibly versatile, they complement every look, every occasion, yet remain timeless and true to their identity,” she adds.

Why Sharvari prefers fashion that lasts

The idea of investing in pieces that can be worn repeatedly is central to Sharvari’s approach to accessories.

Rather than viewing a watch as something selected only to complete one particular outfit, she sees it as an everyday object that can gradually become connected to different experiences.

That distinction is important.

Clothing and accessories can often be associated with specific occasions, while a watch can accompany its wearer through ordinary routines as well as important moments. Over time, that repeated presence can give the object sentimental value.

Sharvari’s own memories with watches reflect exactly that evolution.

Her first watch was not a carefully selected luxury purchase or a significant milestone gift. It was a much simpler decision driven by friendship.

Sharvari remembers choosing her first watch to match a friend

Looking back, Sharvari’s first watch story is surprisingly relatable.

She remembers wanting the same watch as one of her friends.

“I still remember my very first watch, I actually picked the exact same one as my friend because I wanted the one she had. At the time, it felt like such a big deal!” she recalls.

What may have been a small choice at the time has remained a memorable part of her relationship with watches.

The story also captures how accessories can acquire meaning beyond their monetary or aesthetic value. A first watch can represent growing up, friendship or simply the excitement of owning something that once felt special.

For Sharvari, that early memory has become part of a much broader relationship with the accessory.

The watch Sharvari and her sister gifted their mother

Her most sentimental watch, however, is connected to her family.

Sharvari recalls a watch that she and her sister gave to their mother. Unlike an accessory chosen simply because it looked good, this particular watch carries emotional significance because of the people involved and the occasion behind it.

“There’s actually a watch that my sister and I gifted to my mom, and that one is quite special to me,” she says.

She explains that the emotional value comes from the fact that she and her sister selected it for their mother themselves.

“It was something we picked out for her and it was one of those gifts that felt very personal. So whenever I see that watch, I think of her and that particular moment,” Sharvari adds.

The memory illustrates why watches can become more personal than many other fashion accessories.

The object itself may remain unchanged, but its meaning can evolve because of the memories attached to it.

Why watches can become personal keepsakes

Sharvari believes one of the strongest qualities of a watch is its longevity.

Unlike an accessory that may be purchased specifically for a particular outfit, a watch can remain in a wardrobe for years. Its repeated use allows it to become associated with different stages of a person’s life.

“I also think watches are nice because they’re something you can keep for years,” she says.

That long-term quality is what makes the accessory particularly interesting from a fashion perspective.

A watch can work with formal clothing, casual outfits, travel looks or everyday wear. Its ability to move between these settings means that it does not necessarily become tied to one particular occasion.

Instead, it can accompany its wearer through many of them.

Sharvari says this is part of what makes watches capable of collecting memories over time.

“You don’t necessarily buy one just for a particular outfit or occasion, so they can end up becoming associated with different moments in your life,” she adds.

Sharvari’s fashion philosophy goes beyond trends

The actor’s comments reflect a broader preference for longevity over short-lived fashion trends.

While seasonal trends can influence celebrity styling, Sharvari’s personal approach appears to place greater emphasis on pieces that remain wearable beyond a single moment.

Her preference for minimal and classic designs fits naturally into that philosophy.

Rather than choosing an accessory solely because it is currently fashionable, she values pieces that can continue to work as her wardrobe and circumstances change.

That also explains why versatility is such an important part of her association with Daniel Wellington.

For Sharvari, the appeal lies in the ability of a watch to transition between different looks without becoming visually disconnected from the wearer.

From screen versatility to personal style

Sharvari’s career has also given her plenty of opportunities to explore different identities.

Her filmography has taken her from lighter commercial entertainers to horror-comedy, action and more performance-driven projects. That range requires an ability to adapt while maintaining a recognisable presence.

She sees a similar balance in her personal fashion choices.

The pieces she gravitates towards may be understated, but they are designed to work across different settings. A classic watch can become part of a casual outfit one day and a more polished ensemble the next.

That adaptability is perhaps what makes the accessory particularly compatible with Sharvari’s personal style.

A watch as an everyday memory

At the heart of Sharvari’s perspective is an idea that goes beyond fashion.

A watch can become a record of time in a surprisingly literal sense—not because it stores memories itself, but because it remains present while those memories are created.

Her first watch reminds her of a childhood or early friendship moment. Another reminds her of a gift she and her sister chose for their mother.

Over time, those associations can become inseparable from the object.

That is why Sharvari does not view watches merely as styling additions.

For her, their real appeal lies in their ability to remain part of everyday life, moving from one outfit, occasion and chapter to another.

Her philosophy is therefore straightforward: choose pieces thoughtfully, wear them repeatedly and allow them to develop their own history.

And in an industry often driven by the next trend, that emphasis on longevity makes Sharvari’s approach to accessories feel particularly personal.
