Jannat Zubair Breaks Silence on Plastic Surgery Rumours: “Nothing Done to My Face”

Actor and digital star Jannat Zubair is currently receiving praise for her appearance on Laughter Chefs 3, but alongside the appreciation, she has also been facing speculation about her looks.

During a recent podcast conversation with Rubina Dilaik, Jannat addressed ongoing rumours suggesting she has undergone plastic surgery or cosmetic procedures. She dismissed the claims clearly, stating that there has been no alteration to her appearance.

In a rapid-fire segment, Jannat was asked about a common misconception people have about her. She replied that many assume she has changed her face through cosmetic treatments, which she says is completely untrue.

She emphasized that she has not undergone any such procedures and expressed confusion over why the assumption exists. Rubina Dilaik, who hosted the conversation, supported her statement and noted that she has seen Jannat closely and found no signs of cosmetic work.

Opening Up About Trolls and Social Media Pressure

Jannat also spoke about navigating the shift from television to social media and the challenges that came with it. She explained that unlike television, where actors perform scripted roles, digital platforms demand authenticity and constant visibility.

She recalled initially feeling overwhelmed by the sudden surge in engagement — from likes and views to public feedback. Over time, she also encountered criticism and negativity, which helped her understand the dual nature of online fame.

According to her, appreciation and criticism often go hand in hand, and learning to handle both has been part of her journey.

Acting vs Social Media: Finding the Balance

Talking about her passion, Jannat shared that acting remains closest to her heart. While she values the connection she has built with audiences through social media, she described acting as a deeper, more immersive experience.

She explained that portraying characters allows for emotional depth and storytelling in a way that short-form content cannot replicate. At the same time, she acknowledged feeling grateful for the direct love and support she receives online.

Despite her success across platforms, she maintained that her long-term inclination will always be toward acting.
