“I believe haa thoda bahot use toh kar rahi hai. Par agar woh yeh kar rahi hai, toh usne kuch ghalat nahi kiya hai. Roadies aur Splitsvilla mein jo log shamil hote hain, woh yeh nahi sochte ke woh pyaar talash kar rahe hain ya ek bada title jeetne ke liye—woh in shows ka hissa ban kar mashhoor hone ke liye jaate hain. Aur yeh kar rahi hai, aur agar yeh ho raha hai, to wo acchi kar rahi hai. This is how I feel.”
Translated, Hamid essentially noted that if Akanksha is using the sympathy angle to her advantage, it is nothing wrong. Contestants on reality shows like Roadies and Splitsvilla often participate to gain fame rather than solely for love or titles.
