IndyaStory | Noted Tamil filmmaker and actor Sundar C is set to step into active politics, contesting the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections from the Madurai Central constituency.
He will represent the Neethi Party, a relatively new political outfit that is part of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), in alliance with the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam.

Sundar C’s political move has received strong backing from his wife, actress and BJP leader Khushbu Sundar, who publicly expressed her support and confidence in his new journey.
In a message shared online, she highlighted his decades-long connection with the people of Tamil Nadu and appealed for public support as he enters the electoral fray.
