Singer and spiritual therapist Keneeshaa Francis has shared details about her deeply difficult personal journey while addressing the intense online scrutiny surrounding her association with actor Ravi Mohan.

Keneeshaa Francis Says Music Began at a Young Age

Keneeshaa revealed that music became part of her life during childhood through church performances and choir singing.

In an earlier interaction with Sakshi TV, she explained that she gradually moved from school and college choirs to performing at cafés and bars for small payments.

The singer shared that one of her earliest paid performances earned her Rs 500, which became the beginning of her professional music journey.

She also recalled participating in the reality show The Stage, where she reached the top contestants and gained recognition that later opened doors within the music industry.

Speaks About Abuse and Early Marriage

In her emotional Instagram videos, Keneeshaa claimed she faced abuse from a very young age and described her childhood as emotionally traumatic.

She stated that she married at the age of 18 and alleged that the relationship became abusive. According to her account, the emotional and physical stress during the marriage eventually led to the loss of her unborn child when she was around 19 or 20 years old.

Keneeshaa also revealed that she lost her mother in 2013 and later spent several years caring for her father, who was suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, until his passing in 2017.

The singer said these experiences forced her to become emotionally independent at an early stage in life.

‘I Sang in Bars for Rs 500’

Addressing criticism directed at her early career, Keneeshaa defended her journey in the music industry and said she was proud of the work she did to survive.

She explained that performing in bars and small venues helped her build a career gradually through hard work rather than industry connections or favours.
