Veteran actor Supriya Pathak recently spoke warmly about her relationship with daughter-in-law Mira Rajput Kapoor, saying that Mira never felt like an outsider after joining the family.
Mira married actor Shahid Kapoor in 2015 when she was just 20 years old. Over the years, the couple has built a close-knit family and are now parents to two children, Misha Kapoor and Zain Kapoor.
“She was always part of our home”
In a recent interview, Supriya Pathak shared that Mira blended into the Kapoor household effortlessly.
According to the actor, the family never felt that Mira had “entered” their home as a new member. Instead, she always felt like she already belonged there. Supriya even joked that Mira was the family’s “missing child” who had finally found her way back.

A loving bond with the grandchildren
Supriya also spoke about her bond with Shahid and Mira’s children, describing them as a source of immense joy for the family.
She said that when both grandchildren are around, it instantly brightens the atmosphere at home. During the conversation, Sanah Kapur added that young Misha often enjoys chatting with Supriya and sharing little updates from her daily life.
