Shanaya Kapoor recently shared a humorous yet nerve-wracking childhood memory involving her longtime friends Aryan Khan and Suhana Khan.
The trio, who grew up together, once turned a staircase into what Aryan described as a “self-designed roller coaster.”
Suhana’s Voice Note Surprise
During a conversation with Nayandeep Rakshit, Shanaya received a surprise voice message from Suhana. In the heartfelt note, Suhana expressed pride in Shanaya’s latest film and recalled the infamous childhood stunt.
She joked about how the two of them rolled down a steep flight of stairs wrapped inside a blanket because someone thought it would be a brilliant idea. Suhana admitted she was surprised they escaped without serious injuries and teased that Shanaya is now doing even riskier things on screen.

Responding to the story, Shanaya elaborated on what actually happened. She revealed that Aryan had convinced them the idea would feel like flying on a magic carpet. He reportedly suggested they wear helmets, zip themselves inside a blanket, and enjoy what he called the “best roller coaster ride” of their lives.
Shanaya admitted that the experience was far from magical and ended up being painful. Thankfully, she said, neither she nor Suhana sustained major injuries.
A Bond That Feels Like Family
Reflecting on her friendships, Shanaya described Suhana, Aryan, Navya Naveli Nanda and Ananya Panday as family. Having grown up together, she said their shared memories and unwavering support make their bond special.
According to Shanaya, watching each other pursue individual dreams while remaining connected has been a privilege.
‘Tu Ya Main’ Box Office Performance
On the professional front, Shanaya’s recent release Tu Ya Main, co-starring Adarsh Gourav, hit theatres on February 13. Directed by Bejoy Nambiar, the film collected approximately ₹2.85 crore in its opening three days at the box office.
