Speaking to Film Window, Poonam admitted that she frequently receives messages from verified accounts of popular public figures. When asked whether well-known personalities reach out to her privately, she confirmed that several celebrities and sports personalities have messaged her.
Without revealing any names, she recalled one specific incident involving a cricketer.
“One cricketer wrote, ‘You look very cute.’ He kept messaging me. I had to block him,” she shared.
When questioned about whether such approaches are serious in nature, Poonam responded that most of the messages do not appear genuine.

Just ahead of Valentine’s Day, Poonam posted romantic pictures with an unidentified man on her social media account. The photos, where his face was not visible, quickly drew attention online.
Captioning the images, she wrote, “This is my happy space.”
The post triggered speculation about her relationship status, with several followers congratulating her in the comments section. However, the actress has not publicly disclosed the identity of the man.
Past Marriage With Sam Bombay
Poonam was previously married to Sam Bombay. The couple tied the knot in 2020. Shortly after their wedding, she filed a complaint against him in Goa, alleging assault, harassment, and threats.
Although they reconciled briefly, the marriage eventually ended. Poonam later described the relationship as abusive.
