The 50: Urvashi Dholakia evicted after bottom two face-off with Karan Patel; actor calls it ‘heart-wrenching’

The latest episode of The 50 opened on a tense note as popular television actors Urvashi Dholakia and Karan Patel found themselves in the bottom two during the voting round.

After a suspense-filled moment inside the Mahal, the Lion announced Urvashi’s name, confirming her eviction. The decision left several contestants visibly shocked.

Karan Patel: ‘It’s always emotional to see a close friend leave’

In a behind-the-scenes clip, Karan reflected on his long association with Urvashi. He revealed that he has known her since their early teenage years.

“We have known each other for decades. She has literally seen us grow up. It is always a very emotional and heart-wrenching moment to see a close friend leave the show,” Karan said.

Other contestants, including Yuvika, appeared stunned and admitted they were still processing the sudden elimination.

Voting twist sparks tension

Following the eviction, discussions inside the Mahal intensified. Some contestants blamed Aarya Jadhao for changing her vote at the last moment.

Meanwhile, Siwet Tomar and Shiv Thakare reportedly told Karan that the original plan had been to create a tie between him and Urvashi. However, Aarya’s unexpected move altered the outcome, leading to heightened tension among the players.

Dare Or No Dare challenge adds drama

The episode also featured Urvashi taking on the ‘Dare Or No Dare’ challenge. She had to sit inside a tub filled with ice maintained at 0–1°C and select a time bracket she believed she could endure.

Contestants watching from outside were asked to predict her chosen time slot. If Manisha’s prediction matched the majority’s guess, ₹1 lakh would be added to the money pot; otherwise, the same amount would be deducted.

After initially quitting twice, Urvashi returned for a third attempt and completed the challenge successfully. Her selected time matched the majority prediction, resulting in ₹1 lakh being added to the prize pool.

As The 50 progresses, shifting alliances and emotional exits continue to raise the stakes inside the Mahal.
