Shanaya Kapoor, daughter of Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor, comes from one of Bollywood’s well-known film families. However, the young actor admits that her journey into the industry has not been without challenges.
Her debut project Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan did not perform as expected at the box office. Reflecting on that phase, Shanaya revealed that it was her father’s guidance that helped her stay grounded and focused.
In a conversation with Asian News International (ANI), she shared, “Dad always says, ‘Put your head down and keep doing the work.’ He tells me to work with a true heart and reminds me that the camera catches everything.”
She added that sincerity plays a crucial role in performance. According to Shanaya, when an actor approaches a role with honesty, it translates naturally on screen. “When you’re honest and working with a true heart, it reflects in your character. So he always tells me to just do good work and do it wholeheartedly,” she said.
