Ayesha Khan Calls Out Paparazzi at Premiere Event

Ayesha Khan, who has been receiving appreciation for her appearance in the song Shararat from Dhurandhar, attended the premiere of Tu Yaa Main. However, beyond the red-carpet glamour, it was her composed yet firm response to a photographer that became the talking point of the evening.

The premiere of Tu Yaa Main, starring Adarsh Gourav and Shanaya Kapoor and directed by Bejoy Nambiar, saw several celebrities in attendance.

What Happened on the Red Carpet

While posing at the step-and-repeat backdrop, Ayesha was asked by paparazzi to turn around for additional photographs. At that moment, she paused, looked toward one of the photographers, and responded:

“Aap izzat bhi khud kamayenge, aur khud hi gawayenge. Please mat kariye, acha nahi lagta. Please don’t do this.”

(You will earn and lose respect by yourself. Please don’t do this, it doesn’t feel good.)

She appeared visibly uncomfortable, while other photographers were heard asking the concerned individual to stop. After a brief pause, Ayesha resumed posing for a few seconds before heading inside.

Ayesha on Consent and Viral Paparazzi Culture

This is not the first time the actress has addressed the issue. In a recent interaction with Pinkvilla, Ayesha spoke about consent and the ethics surrounding viral paparazzi clips.

She emphasized that consent cannot be assumed and that public figures deserve boundaries. Addressing the culture of circulating “oops moments,” she questioned the practice of recording and posting uncomfortable situations for online traction.

“People don’t understand consent. You can’t do these things without asking,” she stated, underlining that personal agency should always be respected.

“There Are Good Paps Too”

While critical of certain practices, Ayesha maintained a balanced stance. She acknowledged that many photographers respect limits when clearly communicated.

“There are good people. There are good paps,” she said, adding that several refrain from posting content if she expresses discomfort. She concluded by noting that, like any profession, there are both positive and negative aspects, and she chooses to focus on those who act responsibly.
