In a fresh development for Bollywood’s horror space, Tamannaah Bhatia and Junaid Khan are set to headline Ragini 3, an upcoming horror film backed by Balaji Motion Pictures.
The project will be directed by Shashanka Ghosh, marking his reunion with producer Ekta Kapoor’s banner. The filmmaker has previously collaborated with the studio on films like Veere Di Wedding and Freddy.
According to an official statement, Ragini 3 is being positioned as a bold and stylised horror experience designed for a “date-night” audience. Further details about the storyline, additional cast, and release timeline are expected to be announced soon.
Tamannaah Bhatia’s Recent Release
Tamannaah was recently seen in O Romeo, which released in theatres. Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, the film features Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri in leading roles. The ensemble cast also includes Nana Patekar, Avinash Tiwary, Disha Patani, and Vikrant Massey in pivotal parts.

Meanwhile, Junaid Khan is gearing up for Ek Din, where he stars opposite Sai Pallavi. The film is directed by Sunil Pandey and produced under Aamir Khan Productions.
Ek Din is slated for release on May 1 and is the official Hindi remake of the 2016 Thai romantic drama One Day. The project also marks Sai Pallavi’s debut in Hindi cinema.
With Ragini 3, Balaji Motion Pictures appears set to expand its horror slate, bringing together fresh casting and a contemporary storytelling approach aimed at modern audiences.
