The latest episode of Bigg Boss 19 sparked a major controversy after housemate Farrhana Bhatt referred to fellow contestant Gaurav Khanna as “aurat” (woman) during an argument. Social media erupted, with viewers demanding strict action from Salman Khan for her derogatory remark.
The incident in detail
The confrontation occurred during a captaincy task where housemates had to balance on a guitar. Aggressive pushing led to heated exchanges between contestants. After the first round, Shehbaz and Tanya were eliminated, and Shehbaz was declared the Sanchalak (task in charge).
In the second round, Farrhana clashed with Mridul, calling him ‘gawar’ (uncultured). When she complained to Gaurav about his inaction, she remarked, “aap aurat ho aurat. Koi point of view hi nahi hai” (you are a woman and have no point of view). Gaurav responded calmly, “Keep speaking and show people the real you.”

The comment drew immediate outrage online. Reddit users and fans criticized Farrhana for using gender as an insult. Comments included:

This isn’t the first time Farrhana has faced criticism. In week two, she clashed with Baseer Ali and Kunickaa Sadanand, attacking their families and calling Neelam “2 Kodi ki aurat” (2-rupee woman), earning a reprimand from Salman Khan during Weekend Ka Vaar.
Current Bigg Boss 19 nominations
Farrhana is currently nominated for eviction after Amaal chose her over Tanya. Other nominees include Abhishek Bajaj, Neelam Giri, Ashnoor Kaur, and Gaurav Khanna. Reports suggest a double eviction this week, which will be confirmed during the upcoming Weekend Ka Vaar.
