Pavitra Punia Postpones Wedding With US-Based Businessman After Family Emergency

Television actress Pavitra Punia, known for her strong screen presence and outspoken personality, has postponed her wedding plans following a personal loss in the family. Pavitra Punia confirms postponement

Confirming the news herself, Pavitra opened up about the reason behind the sudden change in plans.

“Unfortunately, yes, my wedding has been postponed. I lost my nani in December last year. It was then that my family decided to move the wedding ahead by a few months,” she shared.

The actress further clarified that while the wedding has not been cancelled, the family needs time to process the loss and adjust emotionally.

“The dates haven’t been finalised as of yet, but nothing before August for sure. We’ve delayed it for a minimum of six months. It was unexpected, and we’re trying to cope with it,” Pavitra added.

Engagement announced in October

Pavitra Punia announced her engagement to a US-based businessman in October last year. Earlier this month, she had sparked excitement among fans by hinting at wedding plans through an Instagram post, describing the upcoming phase of her life as a “new chapter” and expressing happiness about beginning her journey with her partner.

The wedding was initially expected to take place in 2025, with March being the tentative month for the ceremony.
