“There was no message on my original number. I only had one missed call. That day, I was with Akanksha because she had severe food poisoning, so I had to take her to the doctor,” he explained.

He added that had he seen a message, he would have responded without hesitation.

“If there had been a message, I would definitely have replied,” Gaurav clarified.

Despite the controversy, the Anupamaa actor maintained a respectful tone and praised Farrhana’s performance on the show, saying she played well in her own way. He also wished her a belated happy birthday, signalling no personal animosity.
