Ashnoor Kaur’s Bigg Boss 19 journey came to an emotional end just a week before the grand finale, leaving the young actress devastated. Her elimination followed an unfortunate incident during a task, where she unintentionally hit co-contestant Tanya Mittal with a wooden plank, prompting Bigg Boss to show her the exit.
Reflecting on the episode, Ashnoor said,
“I still feel terrible that Tanya got hurt. It was never intentional. Had I known in the moment, I would have apologised instantly. By the time I learned about it during the weekend episode, the decision had already been made. It felt like someone took away my dream of lifting the trophy.”
Throughout her stay, the youngest contestant in the house was often praised for her maturity and composure. She credits this to her upbringing and early exposure to the entertainment industry.
“My parents’ values shaped how I handled situations inside the house. Growing up on sets makes you mature early—you meet people from all walks of life, and you see the real world before others your age.”
Addressing the ‘arrogance’ narrative
A shift in Ashnoor’s behaviour after her father’s entry became a talking point online, with many assuming she had turned arrogant. Some even believed her father advised her to ignore body-shaming incidents, interpreting it as defensiveness.

Later, when I watched the episodes, I realised only my reactions were shown, not the provocations or context. People misunderstood me, and many of my supportive moments were edited out.”
Her special bond with Abhishek Bajaj
Ashnoor also addressed the public curiosity surrounding her bond with co-contestant Abhishek Bajaj.
“We were best friends inside, and we still are. He was the first to meet me after I stepped out. Some friendships are so pure that nothing changes them.”
Bigg Boss: A life lesson
Despite the abrupt ending, the show remains a powerful experience for her.
“Bigg Boss is a rollercoaster—bittersweet, intense, emotional. But I’d do it again. It’s a shorter version of life, and I understand people, intentions, and myself more deeply now.”
