Kaantha opened on Friday with a respectable ₹4.35 crore, with the Tamil version contributing ₹2.65 crore and the Telugu version adding ₹1.7 crore. Strong audience response helped the film rise by nearly 40% on Saturday, collecting around ₹5 crore.
